Description
Nos 6 and 8 Cheapside are a pair of houses built in the mid to late 18th century. They are rendered and have a Westmorland slate roof. The buildings are three storeys high and feature two first-floor windows. In the centre, there is a 20th-century glazed passage door in a plain frame, with 20th-century panelled house doors on either side. On the far left of No 8, there is a 20th-century casement window, while No 6 has a four-pane sash window in a wooden architrave on the far right. The first floor has two four-pane sash windows in wooden architraves, and the second floor features two side-sliding sashes with glazing bars. Both houses have end ridge stacks.
