Description
No 14 Cheapside is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone and features a Westmorland slate roof. The building has two storeys and two first-floor windows. The entrance on the left consists of a 20th-century glazed door with a shouldered incised lintel. Next to it is a boarded door, likely leading to a passage, with a three-pane overlight above. On the right side, there is a four-pane sash window set in a flush wood frame, which has a projecting sill and a plain lintel. On the first floor, to the left, is another four-pane sash window with a projecting sill and an incised lintel, which is probably made of cement. To the right, there is a 16-pane sash window in a flush wood architrave, also with a projecting sill and an incised lintel. The house has a ridge stack on the right and a second stack located at the rear.
