Description
Corner House Farm is a house dating from the early 19th century, with later additions and alterations. It is built of pinkish-brown brick, featuring red brick and ashlar dressings, and has a French tile roof. The building is L-shaped in plan, with an infill section under a catslide roof. It stands two storeys high and has three bays. There is a plinth and three steps leading up to a 20th-century part-glazed door, which is set beneath a painted flat arch made of rubbed brick. The outer bays contain 16-pane sash windows, while the inner first-floor window has a 12-pane sash, all of which have ashlar sills and are topped with painted flat arches. A four-course band runs along the first floor, with the outer courses made of red brick. The eaves are sprocketed, and there is ashlar coping and kneelers at the top. The house features end stacks.
