Description
Manor House is an early 19th-century building located on Manor House Lane in South Duffield. It is constructed of pinkish-brown brick with a red brick facade, featuring ashlar dressings and a Welsh slate roof. The house has an L-shaped plan and consists of two storeys with six bays. The entrance is located in the fourth bay and consists of a six-panel door with a decorative fanlight, set within a reeded pilastered doorcase that includes a frieze and hood. The windows throughout are 12-pane sashes with ashlar sills and wedge lintels that have keystones. There is a band above the first-floor windows and a dentil cornice. The roof is hipped and has ridge stacks. At the rear, there is a staircase window that is a 12-pane sash with radial glazing at the head.
