Description
This is a house from the late 18th century, located on Church Hill in Wistow. It is constructed of pinkish-brown brick with ashlar dressings and features a cement tile roof. The building has a central hallway plan and stands two storeys tall, with three windows on the first floor. The entrance consists of a 20th-century door beneath an oblong fanlight with a cambered head, which is set under a rendered wedge lintel that has a fluted ashlar keystone. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, each featuring stone cills and painted wedge lintels with fluted keystones. The gable ends are adorned with ashlar kneelers and coping, and there are stacks at both ends of the house. This building is included for its group value with other nearby structures.
