Description
Manor Field House is a house built in the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of pinkish-brown brick with ashlar dressings and features a Welsh slate roof. The house has a central hallway plan and stands two storeys tall, with three windows on the first floor. It has a two-course plinth and is accessed by two steps leading to a four-panel door, which is topped by an oblong fanlight with glazing bars. This entrance is framed by a pilastered porch that includes a frieze and cornice. The windows are 16-pane sashes with stone sills, all set under ashlar wedge lintels that have fluted keystones. The house also has ashlar kneelers and coping, with end stacks. At the rear, there is a staircase window featuring an elliptical head with glazing bars. Inside, the original staircase remains intact.
