Description
Oak Farm is a house, now divided into two dwellings, dating from around 1720, with a 20th-century outshut. It is constructed of orange-red brick with a rendered and colour-washed facade, topped by a pantile roof. The building has a U-shaped plan, consisting of a main block and two rear wings, and stands two storeys high with four first-floor windows. It features a plinth and a recessed entrance porch that is topped by a boldly projecting segmental pediment. The entrance includes a studded plank door with iron tie hinges, and there is a second 20th-century door to the left. The windows are sashes with margin lights, all set under wedge lintels. A moulded modillion cornice runs along the top, and the roof is hipped and swept, complete with ridge stacks.
