Description
This boundary stone, dating from the mid to late 18th century, is made of gritstone and measures approximately 80 centimetres long. It has been tipped over, leaving only the inscription 'T. F.' visible. This stone is part of a series that marks the boundary between the Farnley (Fawkes) and Harewood (Lascelles) estates, and it also serves as the parish boundary between Weeton and Stainburn. It is located in a hedge line approximately 5 metres from the lane.
