Description

Low Mains Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1758, constructed from coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and topped with a graduated stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and two bays. The central entrance features a six-panel door with a lintel that bears the inscription 'Ro.Rc. Ten 1758'. All the windows are eight-pane side-sliding sashes with plain stone surrounds. The farmhouse is adorned with shaped kneelers, stone coping, and has end stacks.
