Description
Dale House is a house, probably from the late 18th century, with some alterations. It is constructed of rubble and has a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays, featuring a symmetrical front. The windows have plain surrounds and are sash windows with all glazing bars, except for the window above the door, which has an architrave. The doorway is notable for its fluted Ionic antae with foliated necks and a Greek key motif on the frieze. There are stone gutter brackets. Inside, there is a partly restored closed string staircase with two flights, panelled newels, turned balusters, and a moulded handrail.
