Description
Home Farmhouse is a house built in the mid-19th century, with some restoration work done in the mid-20th century. It is constructed of red and brown brick in English bond, topped with a pantile roof. The building is two storeys high and features three bays. The central door and its surround are all from the 20th century. The windows are four-pane sashes set in flush wood architraves, complete with stone sills and wedge lintels, which may be made of cement; the upper windows are shorter than those below. The house has shaped kneelers, gable copings, and end stacks. On the left side, there is an attached single-storey outbuilding that is not of special interest. The right side has cement render and 20th-century window designs. The farmhouse is included for its group value.
