Description
Nos 35, 36, and 37 on St James' Green are two houses that were formerly three, dating from the late 18th to early 19th century. They are constructed of locally made brown brick and feature a pantiled roof. The buildings rise to three storeys. No 35 has three bays and includes a reproduction 18th-century doorcase, cased sashes with replaced glazing bars, and stone cills, heads, and keystones. Its gables are stone-coped, and the roof has a steeper pitch compared to Nos 36 and 37. Nos 36 and 37 form one house with three bays, featuring a reproduction 18th-century doorcase flanked by copies of the original sashes. All windows in these houses have cills, heads, and new glazing bars. There is a carriageway to the right.
