Description
Nos 19 and 21 Finkle Street are a pair of houses built in the 18th to early 19th century. They are constructed of brick and rendered, featuring raised quoins and a small section of cornice at the first floor level. The houses have a slate roof and are two storeys high, with four windows arranged in a pattern of 1:2:1.
On the ground floor, there are two entrances, each with late 19th-century doorcases that have triangular pediments. The two outer windows on the ground floor are slightly bowed and have dentilled cases. There is another window between the entrances. All the windows are tall, narrow sashes with glazing bars, keystones, and flush cills.
At the rear of No 21, there is an arched staircase window with glazing bars, while the rear of No 19 features two sashes with fixed lights.
