Description

Hawnby House is a house dating from the late 18th century, constructed of ashlar and red brick with a pantile roof. The building has two storeys and two bays. The central entrance features a six-panel door set beneath cement flat arches with stone sills. On the first floor, there are six-pane sash windows, also with stone sills. The house has stone coping and end stacks. To the left, there is an early 19th-century brick extension that was originally a joiner's shop, but this extension is not included in the listing.
