Description
Bull and Cave Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1725, with alterations from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of rendered rubble with stone dressings and has a stone slate roof. The building has a central staircase plan and is two storeys tall with a double front. The central entrance features a dated lintel inscribed with "M I" and a plank door. The former entrance on the right side is now blocked. On the ground floor, the left-hand side originally had a 5-light double chamfered mullioned window, which is now a 3-light window due to the loss of two mullions; it has modern casements and fixed lights. The right-hand ground floor and the two upper floors have mid-19th century windows with tooled ashlar surrounds, featuring 16-pane sashes. The left-hand gable end and a ridge stack are located to the right of the center.
