Description

Number 50 Flowergate is a building from the 18th century, featuring three storeys and a basement constructed of brick. It has a pantile roof and stone quoins, bands, and a parapet. The basement is rendered. The building has three windows with double-hung sashes, although one window on each floor to the right is blocked. The bands continue along the cills. The entrance has an open pedimented doorcase with fluted pilasters and a semi-circular blank radiating fanlight above. The door is a six-fielded panelled type set within reveals, and there is also a door and window in the basement. Number 50 Flowergate is part of a group with numbers 47 to 50 and number 1 St Anne Lane.
