Description

Number 3 Flowergate is an 18th-century building of three storeys and an attic, situated on the south side. It is constructed of brick with stone rustication and quoins. The roof is modern, made of asbestos tiles, and features one later gabled dormer at the eaves. A cornice extends above the third-floor windows. The building has two windows, each with brick arches and no glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is a 19th-century oriel window, which is canted, set above a late 19th-century and modern shop front. Numbers 3 to 5 Flowergate are designated as a group.
