Description

The Customs House, located on the west side of Sandgate, dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. This three-storey building is rendered and features a Welsh slate roof with stone-capped gable ends and two chimneys at the gable ends. The sea elevation has two windows that are double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The Customs House is part of a group of listed buildings in Sandgate.
