Description

Kirby Bridge is a bridge built in the late 18th century, constructed from ashlar stone. It features one large segmental arch with voussoirs and a hoodmould at the center, along with smaller similar arches on either side. Each arch is flanked by pilasters. There is a stone band and a plain parapet, although the outer ends of the smaller arches do not have a parapet. Half of the bridge is located in the parish of Newsham, with the other half in Breckenbrough.
