Description
Kirby Bridge is a road bridge built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from ashlar stone and features one large segmental arch with voussoirs and a hoodmould at the center, along with smaller similar arches on either side. Each arch is flanked by pilasters, and there is a decorative band along the structure. The bridge has a plain parapet and metal railings at the outer ends of the smaller arches. Square end piers support the bridge, and notably, half of the bridge is located in the parish of Kirby Wiske.
