Description

A Methodist Chapel, built in 1819 as indicated on the lintel, though likely with earlier origins. The building is constructed of coursed rubble limestone and has a pantile roof. It is rectangular in plan and single-storied. The front elevation features irregular quoins and a four-panel door located to the left of centre. To the left of the door is a 16-pane sash window with a stone sill, and two similar windows are positioned to the right. All openings are topped with heavy, milled lintels. The lintel above the door includes a recessed oval panel inscribed with "Erected by Subscriptions AD 1819".
