Description
This is a pair of early 19th-century houses forming a small terrace at High Green, Great Ayton. The houses are constructed of coursed squared stone with a pantiled roof and stone chimney stacks. Each house is two storeys high and has one bay. The original boarded doors have been replaced with doors incorporating overlights. The windows are 16-pane sashes set in wooden architraves with stone sills. A moulded stone eaves cornice runs along the top of the building. There are two ridge stacks. The terrace is included on the list because of its contribution to the group value of buildings in the area.
