Description
This is an 18th-century mounting block located approximately 5 metres south of the east gate to the church on Leathley Lane. It is made of coursed, squared gritstone. The upper step is about 60 centimetres above the current ground level. The mounting block features five steps on the left (downhill) side and three steps on the right.
