Description

Skipton House is a house built around 1830. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and has a Welsh slate roof. The building is two storeys high with a symmetrical facade featuring three bays. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with an overlight and margin lights, all set within a Doric doorcase that includes pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice. The windows are all 16-pane sashes with stone sills and flat stucco arches. The roof is hipped and has two ridge stacks.
