Description
Howe Hall is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century and mid 19th century. It features a red brick exterior that is rendered, topped with a graduated stone slate roof. The late 18th-century section is two storeys high with three bays, while the mid 19th-century wing to the right is also two storeys but has one bay.
The late 18th-century part has a central six-panel door with an overlight, which is framed by a mid 19th-century surround that includes pilasters, consoles, a frieze, and a cornice. All the windows are 16-pane sashes with stone sills and flat arches. There is a shaped kneeler and stone coping on the left side, along with end stacks.
The mid 19th-century block has quoins and sashes with stone sills and flat stuccoed arches, along with a deep cornice featuring consoles and a hipped roof.
