Description
Ainderby Villa is an early 19th-century house located on the south side of the B6267 in Ainderby Quernhow. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a Welsh slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. At the base, there is a stucco plinth. The central bay is accessed by three steps leading to an eight-panel door, which is topped by a Gothick fanlight and a moulded archivolt. This is set within a Doric porch that has two columns and two pilasters, along with a frieze decorated with swags, a cornice, and a blocking course. All the windows are 16-pane sashes, complete with stone sills and stucco flat arches. The roof is hipped and has end stacks.
