Description
The Malt House and Rosebank is a building that has been converted into two houses, dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick laid in Flemish bond and features a machine-tiled roof. The structure is two storeys high and consists of six bays.
To the right of the left-hand bay, there is a six-panel door framed by a 20th-century Doric door surround with a pediment. The two left-hand bays contain sash windows with glazing bars, set in flush wood architraves with stone sills and stuccoed flat arches. The remaining bays have 16-pane sash windows. A dentilled band runs along the first floor of the three left-hand bays, and there is also a dentilled eaves band. The building has brick coping on the left side, with end stacks and one stack located at the centre of the ridge.
