SOUTH OTTERINGTON NEWBY WISKE ROAD South Otterington Bridge

II Bridge. 1776 by John Carr of York. Ashlar, five segmental arches with voussoirs and hoodmoulds, central arch larger. To either side of end arches is a pilaster buttress below coped parapet. Plain walls to each end of bridge. Half the bridge is in the parish of Newby Wiske.
