Description
Pear Tree Cottage, Rose Cottage, and The Cottage are a row of three cottages dating from the late 18th century. They are constructed of red brick and topped with a modern clay pantile roof. The buildings stand two stories tall and feature eight bays.
On the ground floor, there is a boarded door to the left of the right-hand bay, a half-glazed 20th-century door located between the fourth and fifth bays, and a 20th-century panelled door to the right of the left-hand bay. The five left-hand bays contain 20th-century casement windows, while the three right-hand bays feature 12-pane side-sliding sash windows. All doors and windows are topped with flat brick arches.
The first floor has a decorative band, with the three right-hand bays showcasing 6-pane side-sliding sash windows, while the others have 20th-century casements. There is an eaves band, and the cottages have end stacks and four stacks along the ridge.
