Description

No. 8 Pottergate is a late 18th or early 19th century building. It is three storeys high and constructed of painted brick with ashlar quoins. The front facade has a single window with a stone flat arch, lacking glazing bars on the ground and top floors. The entrance features engaged Tuscan columns supporting a plain frieze and moulded cornice. The door itself is of four panels, topped by a rectangular fanlight. A painted stone plinth runs along the base. To the right of the main entrance is a stone, pilastered doorway.
