Description

No. 4 Pottergate is a mid-18th century building that stands three storeys tall. It is constructed of rubble with rough ashlar quoins and some brick dressings, although the entire exterior is now rough rendered. The roof is made of stone slate. The building features three windows that have keystones and no glazing bars. The entrance is marked by a round-headed stone architrave, also with a keystone, and has a modern door. There is a stone plinth that is romped to the right. No. 4 Pottergate is part of a group with Nos. 2 to 4.
