Description

Pottergate House is an early 19th-century building of three storeys, constructed in ashlar. It has a slate roof, chamfered rusticated quoins, and a moulded stone cornice. The building has three windows, each within moulded stone frames featuring hung sashes with glazing bars. A recessed central door is flanked by Tuscan columns, topped by a plain frieze and cornice, and includes a traceried rectangular fanlight. Consideration should be given to its relationship with the nearby building at No. 1 Flints Yard, as they form a group.
