Description
Slingsby Heights is a house located on Malton Road in Slingsby, dating from the late 18th century and mid 19th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed limestone with a Welsh slate roof. The building consists of an 18th-century range on the left and a 19th-century range with a rear cross wing on the right. The 18th-century section originally had a central entrance but is now accessed from the right range. This part has two storeys with two first-floor windows, featuring 16-pane sash windows beneath wedge lintels. It has gable coping, shaped kneelers, and end stacks. The 19th-century range also has two storeys and two first-floor windows but has a lower roof line. It includes a bow window on the left and a tripartite sash window on the right, with 4-pane sashes on the first floor and end stacks. There is a gable-end entry and cast-iron gates and railings at the front of the property.
