Description

Nos 51 to 59 on Mayfield Road are a group of buildings with origins dating back to the 18th century. They are two storeys high, rendered on stone, and topped with a pantile roof. Each building features two windows that are double-hung sashes with glazing bars and quatrefoil lights. Notably, No 53 has a canted oriel window, while No 55 includes a round-headed staircase window with glazing bars. No 59 has one window with glazing bars, a double-hung sash, situated above a modern window, and features a 19th-century crenellated porch that projects to the right. These buildings are included for their group value.
