Description

The gazebo at High Stakesby Manor House dates from the first half of the 18th century. It is a two-storey structure with one window on each side. The ground floor is made of stone, while the first floor is constructed of brick with stone quoins. It features round-headed sash windows with rubbed brick arches, stone archivolts, and keystones, along with glazing bars. The roof is pyramidal and covered with pantiles, topped with a stone finial. Outside stone steps lead up to the upper room, which includes a fireplace. This gazebo is one of a pair.
