Description
No 8 Newbiggin is a mid-18th century building that stands three storeys tall, constructed from red and white bricks with a pantile roof. The exterior features chamfered rusticated quoins and a moulded eaves cornice. The front has three windows, including a 19th-century canted bay window on the ground floor, which has modern glazing and a rendered base. There are three steps leading up to a 19th-century stone doorcase, which has shaped jambs and a small cornice supported by brackets. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 12 (even).
