No. 5 Newbiggin is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall, constructed from coursed rubble with a slate roof. It features two windows that do not have glazing bars. The entrance consists of a six-panel door topped by a four-light rectangular fanlight. There is also an opening for a basement.
