Description

This barn, located approximately 10 metres east of Low Hall, dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a 20th-century pantile roof. The barn is two storeys high with four internal bays and has quoins at the corners. The front includes a central board stable door set beneath a brick flat arch, flanked by two vents on each side and five vents on the first floor. The roofline is adorned with shaped kneelers and ashlar copings. The rear of the barn has a matching central door. Inside, the barn has queen strut principal rafter roof trusses.
