Description
Stripe House Farmhouse and its attached barn date from the late 17th century and mid 18th century. They are constructed from coursed squared stone, ashlar, and feature roofs of Welsh slate and graduated stone slate.
The farmhouse is two storeys high with two bays. It has a central glazed door framed in plain stone, with a three-light flat-faced mullioned window to the right. The other windows are three-light double-chamfered mullioned windows. The building has shaped kneelers, stone coping, and end stacks.
The barn is located to the right of the house and is lower in height. It is two storeys and has three bays. To the left, stone steps lead up to a board door on the first floor, with another board door below and a third board door in the centre. To the right, there is a flat-faced two-light mullion window, with two similar windows above it. The barn also features a graduated stone slate roof.
