Description
Lupton Fold Farmhouse is a mid to late 18th-century building that originally consisted of two cottages and is now a farmhouse. It is constructed of coursed squared stone and ashlar, topped with a graduated stone slate roof. The farmhouse has three storeys and three bays, with quoins at the corners.
The central entrance features a paired doorcase, with the door to the right blocked in and the left side having a boarded door. Above, a stone slate porch roof is supported by three consoles. The windows on the ground and first floors are two-light casements set in plain stone surrounds, and there is a blocked doorcase to the right of the first-floor window. On the second floor, there are lunette windows also in plain stone surrounds. The building has end stacks and at the rear, there is a full-height arched two-light stair window with a flat-faced mullion and three transoms, all in plain stone surround.
