Description
Near Sunny Bank Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the mid-18th century, with origins from the late 17th or early 18th century. It features watershot masonry and stone dressings, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has a double fronted design. There is a central entrance with a plain surround, leading to a five-panel door, of which the upper panel is glazed.
All windows have recessed flat-faced mullions, with three lights on the ground floor to the right of the entrance, and two-light windows to the left and on both upper floors, all fitted with 20th-century casements. The gable ends have ridge stacks. At the rear, there is a right-hand ground floor three-light chamfered mullioned window, with a blocked left-hand window, and a two-light chamfered mullioned window on the upper floor, also with 20th-century casements.
