Description

This is a house, originally four cottages, dating to the 18th century and restored in the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed squared gritstone with a Westmorland slate roof. The house has two storeys and four first-floor windows. A 20th-century door with an overlight is located far to the left, and a bow window, likely from the 20th century, is positioned far to the right. The remaining windows are 20th-century 16-pane sashes set in flush frames, all with plain lintels. Three ground-floor windows are situated within what were originally blocked doorways. There are two ridge stacks. The building is included on the list for group value, indicating its contribution to the wider historic character of the area.
