Description
St John's Church Hall, built around 1847, is designed in the Perpendicular style. The building features five bays, with a central entrance bay and an extension at the west end. It has a green slate roof that includes a coped gable and kneelers, along with a central wooden and lead domed fleche. The structure is made of grit stone ashlar and includes gabled buttresses. The windows are three-light with transoms and mullions, and there are arched lights at the east end. The east gable displays a carved coat of arms with the date 1847. Additionally, there is a projecting gabled porch with an arched entrance.
