Description
No 106 on High Street is an inn that has been converted into a shop. It dates from the early to mid-18th century and has undergone some later alterations. The building is rendered and features a Welsh slate roof. It has three storeys and three bays.
On the ground floor, there is a 20th-century shop front. The first floor has sash windows with flush exposed sash boxes, ashlar projecting sills, and keystones. Each keystone is decorated with three motifs, which may include busts at the top and an urn at the bottom. The second floor contains half-size 20th-century two-light casement windows with flush exposed frames and matching keystones. The building also has shaped kneelers, ashlar coping, and a rebuilt brick stack at the right end.
