Description

The gate piers and wall, located approximately twenty metres from the north-east corner of Leyburn Hall, date from the 18th century. They are constructed from sandstone ashlar and rubble. The gate piers are rusticated, each standing on a base with a cornice and a base designed for a ball finial. The wall curves and is made of rubble, featuring ashlar coping and terminating in ashlar piers.
