Description

This is a mid-18th century house located in Little Crakehall. It is constructed with a rendered exterior and has a graduated stone slate roof. The house is two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance features a six-panel door set within a wide, moulded architrave, surmounted by a pulvinated frieze and a segmental pediment. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars and stone sills, with the exception of a large 20th-century bowed window to the right of the entrance. The first-floor windows are taller than those on the ground floor. The eaves have a dentilled and moulded cornice. A shaped kneeler and stone coping are visible on the right-hand side. There is a brick end stack to the right and a ridge stack with a moulded stone cornice. A pair of stacks is present where it connects to The Willows, which is an adjacent property.
