Description

Brawith Bridge is a bridge built in the early 19th century for W and P. Consett of Brawith Hall. The bridge is constructed of sandstone ashlar and features a round central arch flanked by lower, narrower outer arches. There is a projecting band below the parapet, which was rebuilt at a later date. The bridge was designed to divert the road away from Brawith Hall.
