Description

This is a ha-ha located in the grounds to the south and east of Hollin Hall, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared gritstone and stands approximately 1.5 metres high and 150 metres long. The wall serves to separate the house from the lake and grounds, which are believed to have been designed by Capability Brown.
