Description

Rosedene is an early to mid-18th century house with a forecourt wall, railings, and gate. The house is rendered and has a 20th-century pantile roof. It is two storeys high with two first-floor windows and a continuous outshut to the rear. The central entrance has a six-panel door with a cornice and an added porch supported by slender cast-iron columns and a flat roof. The side-sliding sash windows have glazing bars and projecting sills, likely originally stone. Rendered coping and end stacks are present on the left and right sides of the building.

The forecourt wall, approximately 1.5 metres high and rising to 2.5 metres at the house, flanks the property and is rendered. It features square-section piers at the corners, topped with banded and rounded caps. The railings sit on an ashlar plinth and consist of round-section bars with floriate finials.
