Description

Fern House is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of limestone and cobble, topped with a roof made of stone slate and pantile. The building has two storeys and features three first-floor windows, along with an added two-storey bay on the left side. The house has limestone quoins and a blocked entrance to the left of the centre, which has an alternate quoin surround and a splayed lintel. The windows throughout are 16-pane sashes set in flush wood frames, each with flat arches. The added bay on the left includes two 20th-century windows. There are brick stacks located to the right of the centre and at the left end of the main block.
